Beaver Stainless Steel Wire Ropes and Fittings are manufactured from both 304 and 316 stainless steel. We source our stainless steel worldwide and pride ourselves on our quality and consistency.
Stainless steel is mainly used in corrosive applications, in particular marine and waste management. Stainless steel’s other applications include decorative balus trading and outdoor use.
The most common and versatile construction of stainless steel wire rope is 7 x 19. It consists of 7 strands each with 19 wires and is the most flexible and the easiest construction to work with. 7 x 19 can be used in either fixed rigging or for limited working rope applications such as on a boat winch.
